The Enigma of Bane

Postby wolflover on Sat Jan 07, 2012 6:54 am

[11:44:35 AM] Wolfie: Frustration I am feeling at this point: "Bane is like reading a really good book (that you're in the middle of at a quite exciting and enticing point) that got lost in a fire. And it's the only copy that ever existed."
[11:48:35 AM] RC Luff: Awww D:
[11:50:49 AM] Wolfie: Isn't it true though?
[11:50:58 AM] Wolfie: Poor Medell all wrapped up in something exciting and... just gone.
[11:51:05 AM] Wolfie: It's like getting all dolled up with no where to go.

It's true. ):

Unfortunately, Wolfsbane has this thing called a life full of responsibilities, and Wolf Web takes the backseat whenever life becomes overwhelming for him.

Yeah.... but I STILL say, that all life and all responsibilities can make Bane a very boring boy. Hmmmmmm?
So, let's begin with the preliminaries, shall we?
1) Losing Cerberus to the role playing side of things was a real kick in the ol' crotch. Yeah, I don't feel like sugar coatin' it here - so there ya' are. The girl was inspiring for me, and really knew how to work and play the straight role to me ol' craziness sometimes. I've actually kind of lost my way without her around......
2) Trinity. Losing her from WW was like getting punched so hard in the chest your heart quits beating. A few of you may have noticed, but the ol' RP engine in me started to sputter and die when she left. Been hard to keep things running, and I've sort of run out of gas ever since. I suspect that girl was some kind of Muse or something to me, (And for Cerberus I suspect, as well....).
-
So, now that's said, there you are - and That's THAT.
This is certainly no pity party, and everybody hates a whiner.

Time to 'Man Up'?
Righto', and on to the Main Course!

But first, a word from my SPONSOR,
"Wolfsbane, the Bane Of Wolves or sometimes known to many as 'The Dark Master' is brought to you courtesy of the EM Group. Yes folks, Enchantress Moon. Now serving up Quality Levels of guilt and recrimination to those select few out there...... who REALLY need it! Are you ready for the best? Do you Deserve it? The GOOSE is waiting for YOU my friends!"

Whew...... now THAT felt good. 8)

1) EM. What an email! The backside of those jeans I was wearing are probably now beyond repair..... but, what the heck. I'm up and about again, right? Howz it feel to know you'd rate a number 3 on that list above? (Hmmmmph, gotta salvage at least a LITTLE dignity outta this, I suppose). And no worries Goose, Rah'la and Narganya both just made it to my 'A' list.
2) Wolflover. Medell has some issues I know, and way more than just a few loose ends to tidy up. Crikey man, it's an elephant! But, with a little bite at a time I think we can (hopefully) chew through this thing.
-
And it ALL seems to center somehow around that freakin' Floating Island - TIRITH ISLA! Oh my......
So, EM is asking for something played a little lively in this next tune, and I KNOW Shinny is hoping we'll ALL end up this time in the Mosh Pit.....

Shall we dance?

Bane! Good girl, EM, good girl~

Glad to see you back, mister!

And if you're curious about what we're cooking up in the Realm, see Cross's post in RP Requests [I feel like we're not doomed. Too much publicly written, too many plans for him to completely warp and corrupt]

Well, time to dust off Cry, then.

Welcome back, Bane dear. We've missed you.

EM. What an email!

Which one? The first (somewhat mild, but shockingly outta the blue) or the second (talk of Narg's rage might have that effect)??? Though I suggest a visit to a gastroenterologist, unless you were, of course, outside receiving email on a smartphone, and promptly fell backwards into a mud puddle due to surprise (compounded by my calling you a jerkface). Yes, I shall assume the latter. Seems reasonable.

Good to still see the familiar faces around. For some, this is still my only place of contact.

Yeah, this guy has ALWAYS been an enigma. Also a bit of a kook, too. ;)

Ar, where in the hell have you been hiding? Or am I imagining things again?

Nowhere in particular. I've just been sidetracked by life and all it's little quarks. For the longest time, I actually thought this site had disappeared though...

Yeah, it was dead as a doornail for a bit. We're trying to keep it alive, but it's not easy.
