It had been a month since that day when the strange blue wolf had stumbled into their world and brought them out. Hari had been starry-eyed at all the world while he guided them, demanding questions from her siblings left and right as she excitedly ran from one thing to the next. But she stayed close to her siblings, gluing herself to Shu’s hip or Tobi’s side. She had been nervous about the blue wolf, of course, but she was quickly distracted by him bringing them to a place he called The Grounds. He told them the entire land was theirs and they would be safe, as long as they extended that safety to everything else on the land. It was soSOSO BIG! Hari was beside herself with the sight. But she had stuck close to her siblings, never daring to stray from their sides-the world was big and scary now-until the most recent week.

And today just felt different for the petite female. The sun was shining through the red and green fabrics of their tent (so different from a cave!) and turned the light inside a gorgeous mix of crimson and emerald that glinted off her wings like drops of crystals. She lifted her head from Shu’s back and looked around. The morning felt different, like something exciting would happen. She gently moved her tail out from under Tobi’s head and stroked him on the head with it. She also nuzzled her sister’s side. “Wake up! Wake up! Something’s gonna happen! I can feel it!” She excitedly whispered. “Let’s go find Danse!” She sad as her wakeup call became more prominent and naggy.

She huffed and jumped over her siblings and landed at the mouth of the tent. “Fine, ya lazy butts! I’ll go find him myself! Catch up when you wake up!” She said before sticking her tongue out and dashing out of the tent.....only to turn around, dash back in, lick them both on the head and whisper a quick “I love you” before dashing off again towards the giant red tent at the top of a hill. She panted excitedly, knowing her brother and sister weren’t far behind before she skidded to a clumsy stop at the tent. She cleared her throat and hesitantly poked the tent flap. “Danse?” She asked timidly. “It’s morning.” She said, as if he didn’t know that. “And...I dunno. It feels exciting. So....maybe something is gonna happen today?” She said as she waited from him to appear.

The sun was a burning ball of orange by the time he had decided to put his nose to the wind and continued his trip. Crackles and snaps were heard as his blazing mane happily licked at his face, never burning him and never going out. He was a Fire Drake, and his mane of pure fire was the most well known distinction. He snickered to himself as he swept his burning tail against a tree, lighting the wood instantly on fire. It hadn’t rained in a while, and pretty soon the flames were spreading and burning everything in sight. Tiny creatures ran around in a panic and he laughed at their rushed movements. His laughter only got louder when they ran into each other, but soon the fun faded and his snickers quieted. The fires died down as he swooped up to stop them with a wave of his wings.

The forest was still in a panic and he just took off.
His day was starting out so good!

His wings beat lazily as he glided on the warm up currents of the air, his mane flickering wildly as he used the warm air to carry him over the ground below. He looked down and saw something curious. Metal skeletons like the Human Ruins? Cool! He moved himself into a fiery dive and like a falling star; he made a spectacle of his dive. But of course, why wouldn’t he? He was pretty friggin’ awesome, if he did say so himself. His glowing figure hit the ground with a clapping BOOM and when the dust cleared, he sat there in his scorched shallow crater with the biggest smile on any wolf’s face.

This place was cool lookin. He may just stick around for a bit.

.:At the end of the river the sundown beams
All the relics of a life long-lived
Here, weary traveler, rest your wand
Sleep the journey from your eyes
Good journey, love, time to go
I checked your teeth and warmed your toes
In the horizon I see them coming for you:.

Hari must have jumped five feet straight up into the air when there was a sudden BOOM and she squealed in a frightened manner as she dove under Tobi’s body. But the boom faded and she peeked out from under his back legs and his tail to see a.....burning wolf? She snuck out from under her brother and looked. “Hey. What’s that?” She asked as she pointed a paw at the figure. “Danse? What is it?” She asked, curling her head around Tobi’s back leg to look at the Ringmaster. “Is it safe?” She asked again, remembering that he said they would always be safe there.

Well, if the pretty blue wolf said they were safe, it must be true, so she bolted from under her brother and down the hill to look at the large wolf more closely. She skidded to a stop just outside the outline of his impact point and looked down at the blackened ground, the charcoal scent making her nose twitch. “Hey! Who are you?” She asked. “Are you safe?” She asked with a tilt of her head.

He looked up at the demanding voice and saw a small, petite female who was more colorful than anything he had ever seen. Almost instantly he charged her and pinned her beneath him. “Well aren’t you just the CUTEST thing ever?!” He said as he nuzzled and licked her head. He liked little ones....maybe a little too much. “I’m Gravitation, but you can call me Gravity. Aren’t you just so cute?!” He said as he continued to nuzzle her.

“Hey! Gerroff!” She shouted as she was loved on. “Ah! Too much snuggle! Gerroff ya big thing!” She protested before her head was thoroughly soaked. Her protests were cut short by the amount of love she was receiving from the overly-excited Fire Drake. He just laughed at her protests and eventually let her go, to which Harikizu dived behind her siblings and proceeded to try and clean the spit from her fur. “I think he just tried to eat me....” She accused.

Gravity laughed and licked his maw. “I wouldn’t eat you, little. Even if you do look like a most delightful dish.” He said with a comic snap of his jaws in her direction, which caused her to squeak again. He snickered and looked at the onlookers before sending them a grin and bowing. “I’m Gravitation. Call me Gravity. And I was just passing through when this place caught my eye. So...which one of you is in charge of this great place?” He asked with a smirk.

(Inspired by techno/dubstep. You’ve been warned XD)

Shureddā slowly became aware of a high-pitched, excited squeal. Through her eyelids she saw a kaleidoscope of colors, bright and vivid. She squeezed her eyes, longing for the darkness of their former cave. A moan-like growl filled the tent as she refused to be awakened by her little sister Hari. She was tired, and had every right to be. In the past month their whole lives changed, and it was taking a while to get used to everything now. She wasn’t sure how exactly she got roped into this, but knew it had something to do with Hari—it always did.

After a moment she noticed an absence, like a gaping hole, and silence. Her eyes snapped open, squinted in the light, then searched for Hari. She saw the glint of crystals disappear from the tent and knew it was her youngest sibling. Growling again in frustration, fatigue, and worry, she took off after her. She knew Tobi was also chasing after their wayward sister.

“Hari! Come back here you silly pup!” she barked after her. She was heading for Danse’s tent, so Shredder ran faster to catch up.

Just then a large beam of fire exploded before them. She let out a howl in shock as she skittered back a bit. When she saw the newcomer interacting with Hari she instantly went into protective mode. Her wings beat quickly in a violent furry, the deafening sound of buzzing filling the air around them, with an undercurrent of a vicious, defensive growl. She stood in front of Hari, next to Tobi, and glared at the Fire Drake.

Freedom Fighters- Two Steps from Hell

A pure white wolf with golden paws, wings, ear tips and tail tip wandered through the forest aimlessly. She had bid goodbye to her Loup Soleil friends in order to embark on her quest to find her destiny. They were distraught when she told them she was leaving, determined to worship her as their first ancestor. Their religion almost had her believing she was in fact the first Sun Wolf, descending upon the earth directly from the Sun. However, a few things didn’t add up. For one, she couldn’t remember anything. The Sun Wolves said that was because the trip made her forget. But they also said her wings should have disappeared once she landed, because they were all pure golden and wingless.

It just didn’t feel right. They may call her goddess, but she wasn’t sure she really was one. So she left them in order to find the truth. She traveled through their forest, looking for others like her, or perhaps someone who knew her. So far she encountered no one else, but as new scents drifted to her nose, hope rose in her chest. She could smell multiple beings in the air, they all seemed like wolves but were vastly different, even from herself and the Sun Wolves. Maybe this group would know her, or could shed some light on her past.

Les Friction- World on Fire

I’ll return form darkness and save your precious skin…
I will end your suffering and let the healing light come in…
Sent by forces beyond salvation, there can be not one sensation…

There was only one way to find out. Trotting forward, she entered a clearing and paused, beholding the wonders therein. It was beautiful, strange, but awesome. She saw tents and various other, along with a gathering of wolven ones. She headed toward them, curious. There was a wolf on fire, but he seemed unharmed. It was a magnificent sight. Three others were there with shining wings, looking metallic and unnatural. Yet another had a mysterious air about him, and such a vivid blue color! She could taste animosity in the air, but was unafraid for herself. She could tell the difference between hostility and protectiveness.

World on fire with a smoking sun, stops everything and everyone…
Brace yourself for all will pay, help is on the way…

“What is this? I don’t mean to pry or trespass, I’m only searching for answers. Tell me, do any of you recognize me?” she asked, tilting her head to the side. She hoped her glowing form wouldn’t startle or blind them, but seeing the wolf on fire, she didn’t think it would have a strong effect.
I live in total darkness...
I hunt the unexpectant...
I survive in the shadows of night...
I am Shadow Wolf.
