((OOC: Link to join - viewtopic.php?f=11&t=7881 need one more spot to fill, any animal can still join. x)

A small sharp cold wind cut the autumn air. The leaves had started to turn gold and brown, days where now getting shorter, colder and darker. Not that this minded to the animals, all they had to do was to survive. Survive through game, adventure, power, and family.

Their last meeting was a blur; Sirius was on a mission to find his Marauders. They’d been gone for so long, and he was beginning to worry. He’d even look to the stars for guidance but nothing, not a sausage, yet he hadn’t given up faith. At the back of his mind, he’d slightly hope that they’d had settled into a pack somewhere, unlike himself, his lust for adventure was just too strong. Not to say he had tried the females could sense it in him and just left him be. Sometimes the females would chase him but he would have just run away, not really broody, or maybe it just wasn’t his time to settle. Sirius was known as the Seeker, since nobody really knew what he was seeking or indeed looking for.

He knew, he wanted more adventures. He got a kick out off the experience. It gave him purpose. Sirius liked to do adventures with anyone, most had gotten bored or uninterested, or just wanted to chase females. He sighed and sorted. Sirius hadn’t stopped moving for almost too days, he’d thought he had caught a whiff of a familiar scent. He just couldn’t just leave it alone.

Yet he had to stop at some point, his paws where killing him, tiredness would soon take over his emotions. He could defiantly feel himself getting slower, yet the scent was already a couple of hours old. He didn’t want to stop but he had too. His eyes where just getting too heavy for them to be open. His nose would have just to work extra hard when he woke up from his dreams

As he settled down in a mini clearing, just off from a little creak he could hear, the sound of the running water mad going to sleep easier, as he curled into a ball, his breathing just became slower and just visible, while his tail reached over his nose and muzzle, making him feel warm inside and on the outside.

As the winds dropped and the sky became darker Sirius settled into a dreamless sleep, He would love to find his Marauders then he knew he would be home.

As the season's shifted so did time. As the planets moved and the weather turned sour the mind grows old and weary. This is the case when one is searching the world for friends of the past. For one knew that while things around her changed that memories of fun times with friends never changed. The sky was darkening, or was it her own weary mind that was slowing? Whatever the case was Yvette lifted her muzzle and took a deep breath into her nose. That scent that hung to the wind, it was so familiar it ached.

The silver wolf stretched her legs out and then sat down. It was time for her band of thrill seekers to once again pursue adventure. What was the group's name again? She closed her eyes and sought the answer to this question before a grin crossed her face. "Marauders. There close." With eyes blazing with adrenaline, it alwasy coursed through her blood at the sudden thought that she could leave the forest she called home and search out things unknown, she took off in the direction of a scent.

In her mind she worked out who it could be. Memorizing scents weren't her stronghold. As she ran her thought traced back to their last meeting. It was such a long time ago though it was fading fast. She had been a pup then just barely learning the ways of the wild and the Marauders helped quicken that. Over the years away she had sought one of the members out but they had escaped her tracking. It could have been that she was hoping that they had found a new home and that was what pushed her away from finding them. Yvette shook the thoughts away as she slowed down and and sat down to take a breath.

A yawn streatched out into the air matched with a stream. Something caused her ears and nose to twitch from across the other bank. She was surrounded by tree's but the clearing across from her held the form of an old friend appeared in the growing darkness. Yvette wasn't usually the one to sneak up on friends but his form was just calling out for it. She shook a gnawing chill from her fur and proceeded to wade into the creek. It was loud enough to cover any slip-up she made crossing it but never the less she took her time. Crisp water splashed her underside and soaked her fur making the cold weather seem even more chilling then before. It did not bother her yet so she kept on moving forward. She had crossed the body of water and proceeded to make her way over to Sirius. Dripping fur she stood right infornt of his dozed off form. Knowing full well that he could probably smell her she licked his forehead and shook her fur off all over him. "Wake up man. The night's just begining." she sat back down laughing quietly to herself.

((OOC: We can make finding Miapa our first adventure! :p))

A small twitch of a faint smile drew upon his muzzle. Had it been a dream? Could he feel one of his Marauders come back to him? His ears twitched, her voice felt so real. He’d almost forgotten what it sounded like, though mind you, it sounded all grown up from their last meeting.

He couldn’t help it, a huge grin spread across his face, of course it wasn’t a dream, his eyes now wide open, and the necessary sleep needing was now just vanished from his thoughts. This tail thumped hard and happy on the ground before he sprang into life and pounded his weight on the she wolf, so stupidly happy to see her. He just began nuzzling her before a nibble of the ear and containing his excitement he calmed down, still with a stupid grin on his face.

He shook his fur dry from her spray. Before he looked at her, with a slight head twitch to the side, his tail still going mental, as if it had only just found its wag.

“Its good to see you again Yvette! My how you’ve grown…”

She was defiantly something…

He was still smiling as he rubbed his head against hers and rubbed his side with her silvery side, he just couldn’t help himself, and it had been far too long. He was a puppy again, with one of his best friends; they just needed to find the other… An adventure calling perhaps! This is what he was longing for. He stopped and face her, still stupidly grinning, he supposed they’d catch up on each other history soon enough. For now, he was basking in her company, such fun they had when they where youngsters. Such fun they will have now, how Sirius would love it. This was the boarder collie coming through, such excitement, it hard to keep it in, his paws where dancing slightly on the ground wanting to find Miapa, yes, he was sure that was her name, or was she a he? He couldn’t quite figure that out at the last meeting before their lives took over.

Now free from adults, free from pack rules, he supposed the only one rule they had was just to keep every one safe, and well accounted for. Sirius supposed there might be a few scratches along the way but that was part of the fun! They could do what ever they wanted; they could go wherever they wanted to go. New pathways sketched out into his mind, though the first thing was on his mind to find Miapa.

The sudden weight on her chest caused her to gasp in pain. She forgot how wild her friend could get when he was excited but now the memories were flooding her mind. Yvette smiled and nipped him back where he nipped her. Playful pups they once were now they were grown and ready for harder tasks. Her tail suddenly broke from her control and began wagging like his. A smile crossed her jaw and she howled pleasure into the sky. "It has been so long since we played. Oh let's find the others!" Her howl died down quickly and she shook a few stray dropletts of water out of her fur.

As his head came across hers she took in his canine scent and stored it in her mind so she would never forget it. Her young mind didn't want to forget anything that she came across now. Sirius was back in her vision and he wouldn't escape. To her it was as if fun followed him.

Excitement filled her at the thought of a new treck. There was definantly an adventure at foot. She sniffed the air and looked around in agiation before reliazing two of their members were missing. "Where are the others?" Being herself she couldn't hold back from commenting on his receant gain in weight as well. "Maybe this next adventure will trim you down."

Yvette stood up and brushed her fur against her companion's. "Can we look for them, it'll be so much fun." History could wait if there was even a slim chanch of escaping the woods. The silver femme looked up into the sky as if it could answer for her.

((OOC: Sorry! Its horrible! D=

Oh Sirius wanted adventure!

“The game, Mrs Yvette it on!”

He chortled, he wagged his tail happily, turning to head in a direction he had to turn his head back around and called…

“Oh yeah, I am not fat! This fur makes me look poofy!”

He barked a laugh out from his muzzle, before he pranced back to her.

“Adventure will not start while we still stand here! Err…. Onwards perhaps?”

He was trying not to act as a leader; Sirius just wanted to get going. He let his nose sniff the cool air.

“So which way do you think?”

He asked her, course he loved to hear other’s opinions. Theirs might be better then his.

“We need to find Miapa and…”

He’d forgotten the others name, he completely forgotten. It was going to annoy him now. Sighing, he looked at her, and waited for her answer. Although they really did need to get going. They couldn’t waste any more time. It wasn’t fair. His ears twitched while he waited for her voicing.

Once they where all together, everything will be fine.

The name. The name of their fourth adventure seeking friend was forgotten. Yvette thought back and mentally shook her mind. Nothing came to her. It was as if the name was permanently erased. Maybe if she met him it would come back? Whatever the answer to getting the name was she was too hyped up to care. She lowered her head and flashed a fanged grin his way. "Of course I know the way. South." She was not telling him she had forgotten the other smells of the Mauraders. If she did that she would probably leave because of embarrassment.

It was years ago that she learned she had a knack for tracking. Smells stood out to her like a tree in a desert. If anyone could sniff out the members it could be her.
"Let's find Miapa and the other one." She nudged him forward, northwest. There was a faint trace of something familiar in the air that direction. Without waiting for Sirius to trudge off she took off in a run in the dark. "Hurry up Sirius or night will be wasted!" A small pleasured bark escaped her wolfish being as she waited for him to chase her.

Leaving the Crumbling Boardwalk always made Don nervous. His fastidious personality made him increasingly irritated with his host as she wandered deeper and deeper into the thick golden foliage and further away from home. This, however, did not put a hamper on Mia's good mood. She pranced about, frolicking through the tall piles of leaves and attacking the birds in the ancient trees. If you don't watch your paws, you're going to murder an ant... Instantly, Mia froze, pulling a mental break, streaking a florescent green as the motion in her body ceased and she skidded forward on her rear. When she finally got to a stop, she let out a sigh of relief. "Thanks, Secret Lover! You've made me realize the error of my ways!"

I assume you fail to realize I was taunting you. The ants are probably all underground with this chill in the air. Miapa sniffed the nearest tree, ignoring the annoying voice in her head, and then, deciding that there were no other dominant scents on the tree, lifted her leg and proceeded to mark it as her tree. Her violet eyes observed the tree, taking in the height and width, and she circled it, round and round, taking stock. On the seventeenth rotation, she found an offender, a squirrel packing rotund nuts into it's tiny mouth on the second lowest branch. That was too much. Rear back on two of her legs, she threw her front two on the tree and barked loudly, her best alpha male bark that she had, trying her hardest to get the stupid creature out of her tree. "GET DOWN" Of course she didn't factor in that it would draw attention from whoever was near, but that wasn't her concern. All she knew was that there was a hideous beast in her tree and it had to get down before she did something drastic.
