A small sharp cold wind cut the autumn air. The leaves had started to turn gold and brown, days where now getting shorter, colder and darker. Not that this minded to the animals, all they had to do was to survive. Survive through game, adventure, power, and family.
Their last meeting was a blur; Sirius was on a mission to find his Marauders. They’d been gone for so long, and he was beginning to worry. He’d even look to the stars for guidance but nothing, not a sausage, yet he hadn’t given up faith. At the back of his mind, he’d slightly hope that they’d had settled into a pack somewhere, unlike himself, his lust for adventure was just too strong. Not to say he had tried the females could sense it in him and just left him be. Sometimes the females would chase him but he would have just run away, not really broody, or maybe it just wasn’t his time to settle. Sirius was known as the Seeker, since nobody really knew what he was seeking or indeed looking for.
He knew, he wanted more adventures. He got a kick out off the experience. It gave him purpose. Sirius liked to do adventures with anyone, most had gotten bored or uninterested, or just wanted to chase females. He sighed and sorted. Sirius hadn’t stopped moving for almost too days, he’d thought he had caught a whiff of a familiar scent. He just couldn’t just leave it alone.
Yet he had to stop at some point, his paws where killing him, tiredness would soon take over his emotions. He could defiantly feel himself getting slower, yet the scent was already a couple of hours old. He didn’t want to stop but he had too. His eyes where just getting too heavy for them to be open. His nose would have just to work extra hard when he woke up from his dreams
As he settled down in a mini clearing, just off from a little creak he could hear, the sound of the running water mad going to sleep easier, as he curled into a ball, his breathing just became slower and just visible, while his tail reached over his nose and muzzle, making him feel warm inside and on the outside.
As the winds dropped and the sky became darker Sirius settled into a dreamless sleep, He would love to find his Marauders then he knew he would be home.
