The original web developers of this site have been on hiatus, we're back and trying to breath new life into our old friend wolfweb.com
To be clear, we're just the code monkeys, we do not own wolfweb.com. The users own this site, they created it, not us. The admins, their friends, the general members did all the work and deserve all the credit. We code monkeys let the side down by just not being around to update and make sure the underbelly of the wolf was protected. Work pressure, closure and opening of development companies caused this to happen unfortunately.
Over recent times wolf numbers in the USA have slightly recovered and in some areas they have stepped back from the brink of annihilation and extinction. However with the new numbers of wolves, the ranchers, landholders and political entities have all stepped up their opposition to them, they are again hunting them. They want them removed from protection and have succeeded in doing that in some areas. This time in some cases the landholders are handed radio collar data so they can even see the wolves are coming and wait for them with loaded guns, sort of shooting wolves in a barrel. They need our help more than ever, we're back to step up to the plate for them and we'll swing wildly at every pitch until we connect. Please join us in our struggle, help us to protect the wild wolves and help them live their lives as nature intended.
