She could feel the anger and the power trembling beneath her gray paws. Eyes that used to see only saw the reflection of vibrations, never again would she see in detail the generations of the world. It pained this female beyond belief, and what hurt more was to be dragged along the edge of a painful death, and not die. She couldn't stand it.
It had been years, years no matter how small, had been uncounted, and damaging, to Silentmoon. She had fought in the BloodMoon gang, lost her sons.. And lost everything, if you wanted to sum it up. The tension along her spine never eased, and in her old age, she doubted it ever would ever again.
Rising with a groan and a few pops from her joints, she slowly stretched then shook out her all gray pelt. Barely any brown shown from her previous pelt color. Had she been morphed? Changed? She didn't know, didn't care to know. She just wanted to die. But no.. Nothing could ever the that damn easy, now could it?
Snorting, she started to step forward into a slow walk, but her legs failed to do as told. A low, barely audible growl left her stomach and traveled down her throat only to escape her lips weakly. Was she really that old now? Shrugging, she tried to move again. With a soft thud, she moved her left front paw. Now for the other paws..
Stepping forward more, she sighed in relief as it became easier. Maybe she just needed time? No, time would kill her. As it was now.. Snorting in irritation at her stupidity, she continued forward. With each step, she saw small vibrations of what was around her. Well, atleast on the ground and up to a foot in front of her, and something like that in her peripheral vision.
Where was she going? Where could he mindless body be taking her? Her feet seemed to know, but not her mind. Growling again at her stupidity, she stopped as her paws hit something liquid. Water. Yes, water. Smiling slightly in amusement, she drank her fill.
Shaking her head, she stepped out and sighed. What now? She didn't know, wouldn't know... Maybe rest for she was out of breath? Yes, sounded like a splendid idea...
Slowly sliding out of the water, and after minutes of aggravated walking, she found a sunny spot on a flat rock by the river she didn't know she was by, she laid her frame down with a half sigh, half groan. It felt so good to be lying again...
As she layed there, her mind wandered and drifted, moving in and out of memories and visions, dreams and terrors. Her tail never twitched, eyes never blinked. Like a statue, she laid there, lost in a world all her own, soon to be lost somewhere else.
She just didn't think about the one thing she actually was...
